A quote and invoice generator that lives in a single HTML file — no install, no account, no internet after the first load. A freelancer or contractor sets their business up once, fills in line items, and prints a branded PDF. Totals, discount and tax recompute as you type; every document is saved in the browser. Free to use; a one-time CA$49 Pro add-on turns it into a small billing system.
This is the actual tool — not a screenshot. The frame below loads the QuoteLead landing straight from the server. Scroll it, then jump into the full app below.

About 30 KB of hand-written HTML, CSS and JavaScript — no framework, no build step. The logo you add is embedded in the document as a data URL; the document and your business profile live in the browser via localStorage. A dedicated print stylesheet strips the toolbar so the browser's "Save as PDF" produces a clean sheet.
Business settings+ Add lineQuote / InvoicePrint / Save PDF
The real app. Set a business name, add a couple of line items, flip the Quote/Invoice toggle, then hit Print / Save PDF. Nothing is sent anywhere — edits live only in this browser. Best experienced in its own tab.
From a blank document to a branded PDF in a couple of minutes — no template wrangling, no spreadsheet formulas.
Business settings → name, logo, address, currency, tax rate, number prefixes, quote-valid and invoice-due days, standard terms. Every new document starts from that.
Client block, then a row per item — description, qty, unit price. The amount and running subtotal update as you type.
A percentage discount and a tax rate, applied in the right order, broken out as subtotal / discount / tax / total in the currency you pick.
One button. The print stylesheet hides the toolbar and input boxes; choose Save as PDF and send it. Your work auto-saves and the Saved… list keeps a copy.
The free single file covers the whole quote-to-invoice loop. Drop quotelead-pro.js next to it and a ✦ Pro tools menu adds nine more.
Business name, address, contact line and a logo picked from a local file — stored in the document itself, nothing uploaded.
One switch changes the document type, the numbering prefix and the "valid until" / "due" label. Same layout, right words.
Description, quantity and unit price per row; the amount and the running subtotal recompute as you type. Add or remove rows freely.
A percentage discount then a tax rate, in the right order, with every figure broken out in a totals box.
CAD, USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, NZD — per document. A dedicated print stylesheet gives a clean "Save as PDF" sheet.
The current document and your business profile persist in the browser; a "Saved…" list reopens or duplicates past documents.
Save a document as a template, set weekly / monthly / quarterly / yearly, and a tracker tells you what's due and builds the next invoice in one click.
Split an accepted quote into milestones (%, fixed, or "remaining balance") and raise each as its own invoice with a "30% of accepted quote Q-1001" reference line.
Record full or part payments; the document shows Paid / Balance due with a PAID / PART-PAID stamp, plus a per-client statement and outstanding A/R.
An on-screen signature block on the PDF; a saved client address book that fills the bill-to; and a reusable price book you drop into line items.
Track billable hours and expenses against a project, then pull every unbilled entry into an invoice as line items — marked billed so nothing is charged twice.
A second named tax with per-line exempt; income by month and by client, tax collected, A/R — with CSV export and a one-file JSON backup / restore.
A one-person business either pays a monthly subscription to send a quote, or hand-builds one in Word. Here is where a single-file tool lands next to them.
